Once you pick up the intel, you would have to carry it all the way back to your MCC so the intel is safe and ready for decrypting.
Of course since I mentioned MCC, that means that MCC from both teams won't just stand there idle while they wait for either team to finish gathering the intel. Add a few Null Cannons around the map serving also as spawn points. But no null cannons near the enemy base/red line.
This way, if you are in a good and heated match and either team can't seem to take the intel to their base, they can win the MCC game.
In short abbreviation: A capture the flag mode but instead of you having to go to the enemy's spawn point and the flag, the flag randomly spawns around the map and you'll have to fight your way there to get it.
The carrier cannot be inside a vehicle. This would prevent easy drop-ins and drop-outs from dropships.
Warzone: A series of events. If you guys have played Killzone 3's multiplayer (don't know about the other ones if they have that game mode) it would be somewhat similar. The objective of the game changes with in time. On minute you are capturing NULL cannons to destroy your enemy's MCC and the other you have destroy or defend an objective, or capture the intel scattered around the map. If executed properly, this can become very fun and versitle.
Invasion A.K.A Infiltration mode A.K.A Skirmish 1.0: Speaks for itself. The enemy team starts out in their deployment area below their MCC (can also spawn in MCC. Don't know why back then you couldn't) and you'll have to brake through the defenders defenses and destroy their Defense relays in order to advance to the installation they are defending. Could be the Gallente Research Facility, or the Orbital Cannon (you get my point) by this time, your MCC begins to move in order to dock at the Installation and control it fully. Of course you will have to deactivate the NULL cannon controls which are inside the installation if you want your MCC to dock.
Really, anything. I am getting a little bit bored playing the same game mode in the same maps over and over and over again. With everyone using the same old tactics and same old playstyle.
Dust needs something refreshing in it's way. And gamemodes, while they require more man hours than the fixes and balances we are getting, they do not require a client-side update to execute.
And I know this (and if you have played Starhawk since day 1 you would know too) that we got new vehicles, new maps, more customization for your character and a new game mode all in a hotfix update. And this team was way smaller than Dust's team.
So after we finish balancing the rifles and vehicles out. Can we please get something new and refreshing to Dust?
